The Škocjan Caves
Discover the underground rivers and stalactite formations in the Škocjan Caves. Feast your eyes: nature’s wonders really are this beautiful and impressive.
Guided tour through the caves
Every hour you can visit the caves with a guide. You start your walk led by the guide, along stalactite formations.
Afterwards you walk above the Reka river, which has carved out a deep gorge, complete with waterfalls. The guide will tell you everything about how the cave was formed.
During the tour you don’t just see a lot; you also hear something cool: you hear the river in the distance. The sound echoes loudly through the large, empty spaces. Absolutely impressive!

Skocjan Park
After your guided tour you can take a walk through the nature park around the Skocjan Caves. From the cave exit, you can choose from 3 walking routes. The longest takes an hour. This walk in nature is again wonderfully beautiful.
