Hike to Crno jezero lake

Near Lake Bohinj, you will find a perhaps even more idyllic lake. High in the mountains you will find Crno Jezero. You can reach this mountain lake via a tough hike from the Savica Waterfall.

Seven lakes hike

The lake is part of the Seven Lakes Trail. This is a hike through the mountains I Triglav National Park. It is a tough hike that will take you about 12 hours.

Dvojno Jezero

A highlight during this hike is the double lake ‘Dvojno Jezero’. This is about halfway through the round trip.

Hike with a tough climb

The ‘Seven Lakes Hike’ starts with a very tough climb (675 m/2 km) from Lake Bohinj. In clear weather, you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Bohinj, the valley of the Julian Alps and Triglav itself during this climb. During the hike you will encounter several mountain huts

Here you can eat and sleep, but it is highly recommended to bring enough water, food and sun protection.

The whole seven lakes hiking trail is truly an experience. But of course you can also just take the climb up to the lake and back.
