Pizzeria Pod Gradom – Tržič
The best pizza in the area is found here. There’s a wide selection, and the crust is deliciously crispy. In summer you can eat outside on the terrace. They do deliveries too, but we think the pizza is best fresh from the kitchen.

Restaurant Firbc Okn (‘Fir Bitsj Okken’)
This restaurant offers a broad selection of dishes. Steak, pork tenderloin, schnitzels, čevapčiči, and generously topped burgers. Pasta, risotto and steak tartare are also on the menu. The menu is extensive with flavoursome options. They have pizza too, but we prefer Pod Gradom for that. Comeback Burger
The best burger in town is at Comeback Burger. This food truck is permanently set up in a small park in Tržič. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside here for a delicious burger or a hearty salad.
Delivery is also possible. They’re happy to bring your burger(s) to Podljubelj as well.

Smuk
Fancy traditional dining in an old farmhouse? Take a seat at Smuk. It can be a bit of a search, out of the way, but you’ll have an authentic experience.
The menu offers a good range of choices. It’s not haute cuisine, but great Slovenian-style food.

Restaurant Karavla
Close to the Austrian border, you’ll find this restaurant in the midst of nature. It’s by the roadside at the memorial for a former concentration camp.
Karavla offers a traditional Slovenian menu with simple dishes. In summer you can sit outside, otherwise there’s a cosy log cabin inside.
